Use a press release as a timed off-page “bump” to accelerate a page’s climb — reach for it in the first weeks when the climb is slow, or as a recovery action if a new site isn’t ranking by the Month-1 checkpoints. Ask Pi to draft a submission-ready, wire-distribution release with the press-release skill, angled around a key message with a link to the target page. For distribution mechanics (which wire service, timing relative to indexing), follow the press-release SOP. It’s one tool in the off-page push alongside link building; see Part 1 §1.9 for the why.

When to reach for it

  • A page (or launch) that you want to nudge up, especially in the first weeks when the climb is slow.
  • As one of the recovery actions if a new site isn’t ranking enough by the Month-1 checkpoints.

Ask Pi

Pi can draft a submission-ready release with the press-release skill:
draft a press release for [my company] announcing [thing], written for wire distribution.
angle it around [key message] and include a link to [target page].

Distribution mechanics

Follow the press-release SOP for distribution specifics (which wire service, timing relative to indexing). Several of those specifics are still being confirmed, so check the SOP’s open questions before your first send.
