# How to generate landing pages from a pillar

> Produce landing pages from a pillar, reading the SERP and your existing pages.

Once a [pillar](/platform/design-landing-page-pillar) exists, ask Pi to generate pages against it for
your target keywords; generation reads the live SERP and your existing pages so it doesn't duplicate or
cannibalize. Prioritize by the product's unique edge and by cannibalization risk, and expect a few
minutes per page while Pi researches and composes. Then run the quick quality check (primary keyword in
the meta title, description, H1, and first paragraph) and the
[technical SEO audit](/platform/technical-seo-audit). Next,
[align the pillar prompt](/platform/align-pillar-prompt) or
[export to the site](/platform/export-pillar-wire-to-site).

## Steps

1. Pick the target keywords for the pillar (get top-5 / top-10 with
   [keyword planning](/platform/organise-tag-file-keywords)).
2. Generate the pages, prioritizing by the product's unique edge and by cannibalization risk.
3. Generation takes a few minutes per page (it researches + composes). Watch the task tree if you
   asked Pi to run it.

## Quick quality check

* Primary keyword is the first word of the meta title.
* Primary keyword (or variant) in the meta description.
* Primary keyword is the first word of the H1.
* Primary keyword (or variant) in the first paragraph.
